Amidst the challenges posed by the pandemic, non-Covid NHS services encountered disruptions, leading to cancellations and postponements. 

Recognising the pressing need to address the mounting backlog of patients awaiting critical scans, a decision was made to install a temporary CT scanner unit. This proactive measure enabled healthcare providers to conduct more scans in a shorter period.

A temporary rapid ramp to the unit was necessary, capable of accommodating diverse weight loads such as hospital beds and wheeled medical equipment.

Our in-house design team generated 3D CAD drawings.

The order was received on Thursday, and by Saturday, the ramp was promptly delivered and installed, enabling the immediate start of CT scans.

After the ramp served its purpose, it was disassembled, and its components seamlessly integrated into our rental inventory, poised for future projects.

• Trombone Ends - These additions at the ends of the Rapid Ramp prevent clothes from catching.
• Telescopic Legs - Adjustable legs to accommodate various threshold heights.
• Standard Handrail - Designed for stability and support, this handrail system is graspable.
• Mesh Platform - Self-draining mesh platform to prevent water accumulation and potential freezing.
• Standard Color Black - Systems are powder-coated black for a durable finish surpassing conventional paint.

• Yellow Tread -This safety feature is specifically engineered to aid individuals with impaired vision in identifying the ramp's edge and any changes in elevation.
