Devonshire Park Theatre

To supply and install a disabled access ramp to the grade 2 listed building. 

Installation needed to be quick to minimise any inconvenience caused during opening hours.

CAD and technical drawings were designed by our specialist CAD designer in-house, from measurements and photos taken by our site surveyor. 

Our team installed the Rapid Ramp within a few hours.

FEATURES INCLUDED:

• Trombone Ends - these are added to the ends of a Rapid Ramp to prevent clothes catching.
• Telescopic Legs - these can be adjusted to accommodate different threshold heights.
• Mesh Platform - the self-draining mesh allows water to pass through rather than collect on the surface.
• Standard Continuous Handrail -  this handrail system is designed to be grasped by the hand, to provide stability or support.

In comparison to our Rapid Ramp System, a concrete solution would have taken up to a week to install and would be dependent on clear weather conditions.

Metal ramps are increasing in popularity. They are quick and easy to install and overcome many of the obstacles faced by traditional concrete ramps.
